French Provincial

Inspired by the French Provincial style, this stone veneer home tucks into a south sloping hillside near Dodgeville.

The stucco bedroom wing, semi-detached garage and chimney suggest additions over time.  A shake roof, custom plank doors and metal railings add rustic charm.

Inside, oversized salvaged timbers and a Rumford fireplace create a cozy living/dining room.  The kitchen features a masonry bread oven, large butcher-block island, and unmatched cabinetry.

The master bedroom features a vaulted wood ceiling punctuated by dormers.  Cool gray tile in the bathroom contrasts with the warm wood tones.  The lower level is fully finished, with two bedroom suites and a media room with bar.
